The concept of the positionality, standpoint theory and ethnocentrism are the prerequisites to understand the culture in a close view. It helps me to reflect my own culture and benefits me to understand the different layers existed within it. The positionality helps to check where your present position culturally in the age of globalization where the different cultures are combined together. The standpoint theory helps us to monitor the activities around us. It mirrors the effectiveness of the cultural activity. Thus, it helps to develop the own standpoint.
